Invocation
Creator God, it is you who have made us, and not we ourselves. We remember that we are dust and to dust we shall return. Breathe your Spirit into us that we may truly live and truly love and be a redeemed community. Teach us to look for the beauty of your love springing forth even in our wilderness. Plant within us the wisdom of your Word, let it grow and produce the good results of your kingdom. We give you thanks for refreshing moments of worship. With grateful praise we come before you and offer this prayer in Jesus holy name. Amen.

Prayer for Bread & Cup & Lord’s Prayer Wes Alford
“Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.” Amen.
Words of Institution
Leader: On the night when Jesus was betrayed he took a loaf of bread
People: and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you.
Do this in remembrance of me."
Leader: In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."
All: For as often as we eat this bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until he returns. I Cor. 11:23-26
The Lord’s Supper (silent meditation)
The Bread and Cup in Communion represent the life, death
and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. They nourish us as individuals and as a community of faith in our life together in His name.
