Holy God, your Spirit fills the universe and you are present in the depths of our heart. We raise our voices to celebrate your presence among us. In your sacred wisdom you call us to share our lives with you and with one another. Let us experience the binding and holding of our lives together as a community of faith. Let our time together build and strengthen the Body of Christ, the church.
Open our minds to understand the scripture and to proclaim repentance and forgiveness of sin. Grant that we may joyfully love and serve together always honoring your holy name.
With our Risen Lord we pray, “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Leader: On the night when Jesus was betrayed he took a loaf of bread
People: and when he had given thanks, he broke it
and said, “This is my body that is for you.

The Bread and Cup in Communion represent the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. They nourish us as individuals and as a community of faith in our life together in His name.
